How to Adjust Your Link Bracelet

Link Removal Tool

Use the provided sizing tool to adjust your links

Phase 1: Measure and Identify

  1. 1
Check the Fit: Drape the band around your wrist to gauge how many individual segments need to be taken out for your ideal comfort level.
  2. 2
Locate the Target Pins: Examine the edges of the links. Look for the side featuring a small, recessed, rounded pin head. This indentation indicates where your adjustment tool needs to make contact to push the pin through.

Phase 2: Extracting the Pins

  1. 3
Position the Band: Open your adjustment vice by unscrewing the handle. Rest the bracelet flat inside the channel, aligning the tool’s pushing tip precisely with the recessed pin you intend to extract. Tip: For the best results, remove links from the center of the band rather than near the clasp.
  2. 4
Press Out the Pin: Secure the bracelet steady with one hand. With your other hand, slowly rotate the tool's screw handle clockwise. The tip will drive into the link, forcing the pin out of the opposite side.
  3. 5
Release and Remove: Wind the screw handle backward to retract the tip from the link. You can then easily slide the loosened pin the rest of the way out using your fingertips.
  4. 6
Disassemble Unwanted Links: Replicate these steps to isolate and detach the necessary number of sections. Note: You can remove a whole block of connected links at once rather than doing them one by one.

Phase 3: Reassembly

  1. 7
Align and Interlock: Bring the remaining ends of the bracelet back together, matching up the hinge holes. Insert the pin—leading with its tapered, smaller end—back into the joint by hand.
  2. 8
Secure Flush: Press the head of the pin firmly against a flat, solid surface or the side of your tool to seat it entirely within the link. If the pin proves stubborn, gently use a pair of smooth-jaw pliers to press it completely flush with the edge.
